I lost her father in early 2016 to a heart condition. Soon after his passing, I learned that my father would have had a chance to survive if Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (C.P.R.) had been performed. Since his passing, I have been strongly encouraging family members, individuals, organizations and whomever I meet to get the training and certified to start "Saving One Life at a Time!"
I started in the health care industry in 2003 when I realized that I had a gift in helping and serving the elderly and people who could not do 100% for themselves due to medical situation and conditions. My first assignment was in the nursing home facility soon moving into the hospital atmosphere in the Neurology department taking on many task.
I furthered my career and now I’m a certified Phlebotomist. While working in the hospitals, I have progressed and expended myself and became a personal home health aide for the elderly.
I am actively certified with the State of Maryland Board of Nursing, Certified First Aid Instructor, Phlebotomist Instructor and an Emergency First Responder with the American Heart Association. I also serve with the American Health & Safety Institute and a certified instructor trainer for the American Heart Saver.
During my free time, I am a jewelry consultant for the Jain Jewelry Network (in Maryland) and a model for Waist Beads by Reign. I also enjoy traveling and spending much needed time with my family.
Finally, I am a native of Baltimore city, I currently reside in Ohio (but I travel back and forth), married to my lovely husband who I affectionally call my “Executive Husband”, and I have 5 wonderful children and 2 grandchildren.
